Foodcare

FREE FOOD FOR THOSE IN NEED

Foodcare is a community care program serving Port Stephens. Its aim is to help people by providing free bread, bread rolls & sweets, fresh fruit & vegetables, pantry items, frozen dairy & frozen meat to people suffering under financial stress. We are privileged to serve anyone who is suffering financial hardship no matter the circumstance.

11AM EVERY WEDNESDAY

When you arrive at Foodcare you will be asked to choose a coloured card and given a meat token. A colour will then be chosen at random and you will be invited to choose bread, bread rolls & sweets, fresh fruit & vegetables, pantry items as well as frozen dairy & frozen meat. A hot meal is then provided, free of charge, and if any food is left over you are able to shop again. All food is donated from major grocery stores including Woolworths, Coles & Aldi.
