Youth is a fun family full of passionate, genuine, God-seeking people. The only thing missing is you!

We gather together at the church every Friday during the School Term and is exclusively for youth in grades 6 – 12. Every week is different, but our heart is to see teenager know God and grow in faith, not just attend an event. We can’t wait to meet you.

MORE THAN AN EVENT

While everyone loves big events we believe teenagers need deeper connection and opportunity for authentic faith conversations. They need friends who are like family, adults who believe in them, and a relationship with Jesus. This is why Youth will always prioritise Connect Groups founded on prayer & the Word. That being said, we try to make youth as fun as possible at the same time.

How do I find out what’s happening?

Unless planned otherwise, youth is hosted every Friday at the church. If you would like more details the best way is to contact Ps Josh at 0422379128 or josh@therockchurch.com.au

Why don’t you do Big Events?

Our goal is to disciple teenagers into a faith that is founded on Christ rather than events. While we will still do events and fun things, this is why we have chosen to focus more on discipleship in a small group setting.

Service Times

Youth starts at 7:00pm and ends at around 8:30pm but it’s safe to stay a few minutes late as everyone always just wants to hang out some more.

We do require every teenager to be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian. We do not allow teenagers to leave the premises without parental consent.

Is there adult supervision?

We always have adults present throughout the service. All over-18 year olds are required to hold a Working With Children Check and complete a background check.

How old do I have to be?

Impact Youth is an age specific service for teenagers in year 6 to 12 (12 to 18 years old). Due to child safety laws, no one aged 18 can be on the premises other than Youth leaders.
