We gather every Sunday at 9:30am. The service runs for about 75-90 minutes, finishing at 11am, and includes worship, Bible teaching, and prayer. Arrive a few minutes early to grab a seat and say hi.

Planning a visit? Here’s some answers to the most frequently asked questions.
You’ll find us at 180 Salamander Way, Salamander Bay, Port Stephens (in front of St Philips school). There’s free onsite parking in the front carpark and in the school carpark. Get directions.
We have our own live worship team who play a mixture of modern, Christ-centred praise & worship songs. We ensure all songs align with Scripture. Lyrics are on screen, so you can jump in even if you’re new to church. Our current songs.
Every sermon at our church is Scriptural-first. You won’t hear a TED Talk or “3 tips to live your best life” but you will hear from the Word of God. We are unashamed of the gospel and of Biblical morality, so expect that to show from the platform. Listen to our past Sermons.
Kids Church runs during the 9:30am service for ages 1-12. Children check in at the Kids desk from 9:15am. All team members hold current Working with Children Checks, and we follow safe-ministry policies. A parents’ room is also available for little ones. For more information about Rock Kids, click here.
Come as you are! Casual and comfortable is normal here. You’ll see jeans, tees, and a few Sunday best outfits. Wear what lets you focus on Jesus, not your wardrobe.
Yes. We have step-free access, accessible parking, and accessible bathrooms. Need a hand on arrival? Our Welcome Team can help with seating and any special requirements.
Absolutely! Barista-made coffee as well as a selection of lunch foods are served after the 9:30am service, and people linger to chat. It’s a great way to meet and get to know church folks.
Kids Church
Sundays will quickly become your family’s favourite day of the week. Our Rock Kids program is for kids aged 5 – 12 and operates during the main service with age-specific lessons about Jesus, and a TON of fun! For kids aged 1 – 5 we also have our Pebbles environment that is safe, fun, and engaging. Our Rock Kids team is committed to providing an environment that is safe, clean, and fun for your children while you enjoy the worship gathering.

We believe that the Word of God is the authority of life. We also welcome the reality of God by His Spirit. We want you, no matter your experience, to encounter God’s Presence and hear His voice through the Word.

Our church exists because of the 60+ volunteers who selflessly serve in various roles; from welcoming, to running our kids programs, to making coffee. You will find that our people are warm, welcoming, and always happy to chat or pray with you!
The Rock Cafe
The second half of our service takes place out in our Cafe. Life happens in circles surrounded by people who love you, like you, & want to know you. Our cafe is where that happens. Grab a coffee or enjoy some food while chatting with friends and meeting new people. If you are joining us for the first time the coffee is on the house!
